Balsansad Rally on cleanliness and Health at Dongri and Tarodi Village Date: 25 th Sep. 17 Venue: Dongri and Tarodi Total No. 150 Topic: Awareness rally on Health and uncleanliness. On third day of Diwali camp as per discussed by Balsansad children we had the rally from Tarodi to Dongri. Total 150 Children along with Core Committee members participated in the rally.   The purpose behind the rally to create awareness among the people related Health and cleanliness.   Children themselves took the responsibility to prepare the posters and the slogans base on the theme of rally.  

Session with Balsansad Children at Dongri Day:                Tuesday Date:               24 th Oct. 17 Topic:             Violence – Domestic and in school.   No. of Participants: 120 Resource person: Sr. Nisha (Pali CCO)   Objectives:       To provide the information about the Violence towards children        To know about the bad effects of it on the children.        Information about POSCO Act and its benefits Sr. Nisha began the session with ice breaking game to gather their attention.   Then she gave the introduction about the topic where she explained what Child abuse is and how to know about it.    She spoke about the child line and police number. Then she showed two documentaries of Komal and Shruti based on the topic.   After the documentary children were asked the questions like…        What did you see in these documentaries?       What did you understand from it?        What are the numbers?    

Input session for Balsansad children at Tarodi (Dongri) Day:     Thursday Date:    14th Sep. 17 Venue:   Tarodi (Dongri) Topic:   Preservation of the Environment – as a way of life Resource person: Mr. Tension Dongri CCO staff No. of Participants: 13 Objectives:   To teach them the importance of environment   To teach them how to protect it.   To be Eco friendly The session began with ice breaking where the children introduced themselves to each other. Then Mr. Tenison in short gave the introduction of the session and explained to them the objectives of the session. Then he divided them in to 3 groups and gave the questions to discuss. 1.   What are the   reasons behind destroying the Environment 2.   What are the effects of it? 3.   What are the solutions After the discussion the group leader did the presentation as per their understanding and then the staff in a simple language made it more clearly to them

Session with Balsansad Children at Dongri Day:                            Monday Date:                           23 rd Oct. 17 Topic:                         Fundamental rights and duties    No. of Participants: 150 Resource person:       Mrs. Velencia Marvi (Uttan CCO)   Objectives:         To clear the concept of rights and duties.          To inculcate the knowledge about the rights and the duties of the children          How and when can make the effective use of it. We began the session with the ice breaking game where children have to introduce themselves to the resource person and one another and have to keep in mind the details of the person. Then she gave the introduction to the topic “Fundamental rights and Duties”. In order to have an idea about how much children know about the topic she asked them what is right and what are the rights. To some extend the children answered the questions but everything was mixed up. T
