Submission of documents to avail meter number for BPL card holders 12.04.2018

Ration card holders were disturbed and tensed for not receiving their monthly ration from the ration shop. The shopkeeper instead of giving them the full information on the issue or the actual reasons for denying them their rights of Food Security demeaned and sent them empty hand. The men and women from Pali-Uttan flocked to the CCO office where the members contacted the ration shop secretary of Chowk and informed them about the misbehaviour of the shopkeeper. The authorities called up the shopkeeper to know the reason. They were told that in the Bio metrics the meter number of the 283 BPL (below poverty line) card holders were not showing. Therefore they needed to submit all the required missing documents whose names were in the ration card. The CC (core committee) and SC (subcommittee) members along with CCO staffs collected documents and registered 185 BPL beneficiaries since their income was below Rs. 59000/-. Follow Up Report On Rationing Issue 20.04.2018

At ration office Submitting forms to rationkruti   The CC (core committee) & SC (subcommittee) members along with the CCO staffs visited the ration office at Bhayander to submit their forms for the ration issue. On 20th March four members of the CC had a brief discussion with the ration officer on the issues they faced. The officer promised them of permitting the BPL (below poverty line) stamps for 100 card holders. The CCO staffs gave some of the members the responsibility of preparing a list of approximately 15 card holders from each ward who needs the BPL stamp on their ration cards.   The last day for the submission of the list of 100 names was declared to be 18th April 2018. With this the people are now aware of 60% of their rights of Food Security Act 2013.

Core Committee Monthly Meeting Report Pali 7.02.2018

The Core committee monthly meeting facilitated by CSA was held at Pali on 7 th Feb 2018 with 19 CC members & CCO present. The main objective was to plan, decide and allot responsibilities for women’s day, evaluate on three issues with the 3 subcommittees and allot responsibilities among CC members for ration camp. The meeting began with reading the previous minutes report and the agenda was discussed in detail with the CC members. 8 th March was decided as the day to celebrate women’s day. The theme chosen was based on the three main issues of Pali village in East Indian language namely “Dur karavachya Han aaplya gavachya adchani, pahilya ghetlyan smasysa ration, aarogya aani Pani”. Monthly Meeting Report of Core Committee & Issues Subcommittees 11.01.2018

On 11 th January 2018 a meeting was held at Pali with the CC & three issues subcommittees along with the CSA staff. A total of thirty people were present for the meeting to plan for the execution of various tasks. The chair person was the president of CC. The meeting began with reading previous meeting report by the CC secretary and preceded by two members. The following agendas were discussed: ·          Evaluating the activities done by the three subcommittees for uncleanliness & health issue, lack of information on rationing issue and irregular water supply. ·          Planning the requirements for Rationing camp, Wall painting, Banners & Posters which needs to be done. ·          Planning the requirements for the issue of septic tank, Dustbins, wall painting, posters, banners. ·         ...

Planning The Awareness Rally On Two Issues Manthanpada

Twenty youth and seven subcommittee members gathered together on 3 rd January 2018 as a follow up to take an action on the issue of uncleanliness and water at Manthanpada, Manori. The main objective of the meeting was to plan and strategize the rally based on the issue. The youth took the responsibility of preparing creative posters and banners, for the rally along with slogans of awareness. They promised to also take part in the rally to raise their voices against the issues. The rally is set to take place on the 7 th January 2018.

Report On Cleanliness Issue At Manthanpada (Manori) 29.12.2017

The Cleanliness issue subcommittee members organized a meeting at Manthanpada village, Manori on 29 th December 2017 with 16 members present for the meeting. The objective of the meeting was to interact with the locals and get more information about the issue of cleanliness and to make a plan of action. The agenda for the meeting was to create a time to time awareness on cleanliness among the villagers and fixing the next meeting date. Members took ownership for the cleanliness issue to be solved. They also asked the CCO staff to give support for the administration work. The committee has taken the initiative to organize and lead an awareness rally & drive in the month of January 2018. The five members will inform the other committees, youth & children about the rally and drive program.

Uttan CCO: Planning meeting of subcommittee members related meeting with tempo owners Day: Monday Date: 6 th Nov. 17 Venue: Uttan Church No. of Participants: 15 Last meeting dated 12 th Oct 17 the members had made the action plan related with fishery issue. Each member did as per the given responsibilities and had the meetings in the villages.  Whatever information was collected during those meetings the members had brought all the information.  The purpose of this meeting was that after collecting all the information the subcommittee members felt that now we need to have the meeting with the tempo owns.
