CC monthly meeting report- Annual Review 14.06.2018

On 14 th June 2018 the Annual Review meeting was held at Pali for the Core Committee and subcommittee members. The CC members shared the positive experience of CCO work and shared their learnings after being a part of the CC. they evaluated the activities of the three subcommittees and its follow up which are as follows: Ø   Irregular water supply : ü   Signature campaign was taken for a regular supply of water. ü   4 common wells were cleaned & Follow up was taken with the MBMC ü   Bore well   follow up is going on with the Assistant Mayor of   MBMC ü   Ward no- 2 common water broken pipeline repairing will be starting soon. ü   CC visit to MBMC will be done in the month of June 2018. The date is to be finalized. ü   Subcommittee meeting for water irregularity issue will be held on 22 nd June 2018. Exposure visit to Pali by Para Professional Social Workers. 17.05.2018

On 17 th May 2018, 7 Para professional social workers from Nirmala Niketan visited CSA’s networking partner Sahajeevan Social Centre   Pali. The objectives to this exposure visit was to give a historical background about the Centre, to orient the objectives and goals of Pali CCO, to share the administrative hierarchy, various activities and programmes, to share the difficulties and barriers, to explain the strategies and skills used for implementing activities and the role of a social worker. An interactive session was held where discussions on health issues, irregularity in water supply, uncleanliness and lack of information on rationing issues were carried on by the core committee members. At the end of the interaction our social worker described the role of social worker. Combine Follow Up Meeting Report Of Health & Water Subcommittees 06.04.2018

A combined follow up meeting was held by the members of the irregular water supply and uncleanliness & health subcommittees on 6 th April 2018 at Pali. Seventeen members attended this meeting. The president of the irregular water supply subcommittee shared details regarding the bore wells and the cleaning of the 2 common wells. An official from the Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation (M.B.M.C.) was sent to take a survey of the 2 wells. He clicked pictures and wrote a report on the same. The cleaning of these wells is to be completed by the end of May 2018. The follow up of the bore wells is still in process. The members of the uncleanliness & health subcommittee spoke about their door to door visits reminding the ward people to keep their houses and surroundings clean. It was decided the walls of the common places will be painted with slogans to create awareness among the people.
