We began our meeting with prayer led by Ms Rasika. Mr Dayanand welcomed all. Following points were shared and discussed during the training.
Mr Cletus led the training. He began by asking the questions & everyone responded to it, which are as follows:
Ø What are the 3 major achievements of last three year in each CCO’s?
In three years the CCO’S build infrastructure, build rapport with people, worked on issues, formation of core committee, build networking with governments, developed systematic way of working etc.
Ø What have your personal Learnings through these three years?
Understood the projects, Community mobilization techniques, grass root realities (Theory put into practice), down to up approach, participatory rapid appraisal, making process Perspective strategic plan (PSP), documentation skills , staff development, Leadership skills etc.
Ø How would core committee sustain the work?
The role of CSA is guidance & monitoring of the CCO’s. The CCO will provide guidance to CC. In some of the CCO’s CC have taken the responsibilities by themselves to plan & implement the activities. People or core committee should felt ownership. They should be committed. The CCO’s also finding the financial resources which will help them to provide refreshments.
Balsansad – all the staff shared that they found difficulties with Balsansad group because children are going to various schools, tuition classes. Even though the children not regular for the meeting so it is major challenges to have input session or do the review with them
Log frame Orientation- Mr. Cletus explained the Logframe through a PPT which covered the period i.e. the years July 2017 to June 2018 mainly focused on Human resource development (To build capacity of CCO staff), Strengthening the Core Committee, Enhancing Livelihoods and the Process for Balsansad 3rd phase.
Ø Mr Cletus have updated that he has received all CCO’s annual plan.
Ø All CCO’s must send their monthly plan, report & attendance before 30th of every month.
Ø Mr Cletus have made request to follow old monthly report format. From next month onwards he will give new format to all.
With these points we concluded our training and discussion.
