Uttan CCO: Meeting with Tempo owners at Patan (Uttan)

No. Of participants: 21 Core committee and Subcommittee members, 8 tempo owners, 3 Society leaders.  During this meeting 

we discuss and took the information on following points:

  •         Made them to understand the rate of the fish has been reduced and your rate has increased. To this they said that we too do so much of work besides taking the fish in the tempo. They themselves have to carry the baskets.

  •       They said that they have more expenditure and less income. To this members said that then how you can still continue your work. It is not that true that they have less income and more expenditure.

  •        Their difficulties and also our difficulties: Each one expressed their own difficulties. And decided to have mutual understanding. 
  •          Fix the rate of the tempo trips: The tempo owners said they don’t get much income so will not reduce but will keep the same rate. 
  •          To have some rules and in case of not following they will have an action: Decided that will have meeting with village people and then once again will meet together and will decide about it.

Pali Bal Sansad - "Hope" taking initiatives in Planning

“Hope”, the Children’s Balsansad meeting was held on 26 th Aug. 2017 at 11 am. The meeting began with a short prayer by Ms. Carol who then welcomed the participants. The secretary of Children’s group read the previous meeting report which was accepted and agreed by all. Sr. Nisha appreciated her for writing the report briefly in which all agenda points were in the report. Sr. Nisha started the session with an example on the topic of good manners and discipline in a story form. Children have understood well. The moral of the story was that each person’s behavior and personality is on good manners showing respect for the elders, teachers, and parents and also own classmate. A well-disciplined life will help to facilitate communication with others; they allow you to get much more than by using authority. Dongri Village identify Issues to be addressed 18th Sept, 2017

The residents of Dongri Village (around 50 villagers) gathered together for a Village meeting on the 18th Sept, 2017 at Dongri Sabhagruha with an objective to reflect on the issues faced by the village, understand their current situation and the reason for it and to work out a resolve them.  The meeting began with a prayer by Mr. Stephan Borges. He began by mentioning about the work undertaken by Prerna Seva Kendra (Dongri CCO) and the work initiated by the Core Committee. Mr. Dayanand stressed on the need and importance of the village to come together to identify and discuss issues faced by them.  Mr. Harold Borges the Gavki Patil shared on the issues faced by the village.
