Uttan CCO: Planning meeting of subcommittee members related meeting with tempo owners

Last meeting dated 12th Oct 17 the members had made the action plan related with fishery issue. Each member did as per the given responsibilities and had the meetings in the villages.  Whatever information was collected during those meetings the members had brought all the information.  The purpose of this meeting was that after collecting all the information the subcommittee members felt that now we need to have the meeting with the tempo owns. Before having the meeting with them the members decided to have the meeting among ourselves where we will decide and plan what exactly we have to discuss during this meeting. The points that the members suggested are as follows:

  •          Make them to understand the rate of the fish has been reduced and your rate has increased.

  •        To get the detail information from them about what is their expenditures and income.

  •        What are their difficulties and also our difficulties.

  •         Fix the rate of the tempo trips.

  •          To have some rules and in case of not following they will take an action.

We decided to have this meeting on 8th of November at 7 pm in patan village. The members suggested calling The CCO director the corporator of the village, Fishing society leaders and jamat Bhavan leaders.

Pali Bal Sansad - "Hope" taking initiatives in Planning

“Hope”, the Children’s Balsansad meeting was held on 26 th Aug. 2017 at 11 am. The meeting began with a short prayer by Ms. Carol who then welcomed the participants. The secretary of Children’s group read the previous meeting report which was accepted and agreed by all. Sr. Nisha appreciated her for writing the report briefly in which all agenda points were in the report. Sr. Nisha started the session with an example on the topic of good manners and discipline in a story form. Children have understood well. The moral of the story was that each person’s behavior and personality is on good manners showing respect for the elders, teachers, and parents and also own classmate. A well-disciplined life will help to facilitate communication with others; they allow you to get much more than by using authority. Dongri Village identify Issues to be addressed 18th Sept, 2017

The residents of Dongri Village (around 50 villagers) gathered together for a Village meeting on the 18th Sept, 2017 at Dongri Sabhagruha with an objective to reflect on the issues faced by the village, understand their current situation and the reason for it and to work out a resolve them.  The meeting began with a prayer by Mr. Stephan Borges. He began by mentioning about the work undertaken by Prerna Seva Kendra (Dongri CCO) and the work initiated by the Core Committee. Mr. Dayanand stressed on the need and importance of the village to come together to identify and discuss issues faced by them.  Mr. Harold Borges the Gavki Patil shared on the issues faced by the village.
