Seminar On Rationing Issue For The Head Of The Families, Pali 16.12.2017

 The lack of information ration subcommittee along with CC members organized an informative seminar on ration issue which was held on 16th Dec. 2017 at Church hall Pali. A total of 87 head of the families participated in the meeting in order to solve their rationing issues. The main objective of the session was to provide information on food security act and to make people realize the strength in unity while dealing with issues. The resource person for the session was Mrs. Taruna Kumbhar, member of the Rationing Kruti Samiti(RKS), works on issues related to the Public distribution system and Food Security.
Mrs. Taruna began with highlighting the rights of a ration card holder. People asked many questions in relation to the ration distribution, the basic rules and regulations, the procedure for getting beneficiary stamp etc. All the questions and doubts were cleared. She promised that (RKS) will guide to fill the form in the camp, but the beneficiaries should take responsibility to bring maximum people for the camp when it is organized so that all beneficiaries could benefit. She also made clear the rules and regulations of the National Food Security Act. 10th Sept. 2013 (NFSA).


The outcome of the seminar was the CC & subcommittee members have taken responsibility to plan for the camp and in January 2018 the camp will be organized as per the availability of the people. The participants showed interest in coming as a group and finding solutions to their rationing issues.

Pali Bal Sansad - "Hope" taking initiatives in Planning

“Hope”, the Children’s Balsansad meeting was held on 26 th Aug. 2017 at 11 am. The meeting began with a short prayer by Ms. Carol who then welcomed the participants. The secretary of Children’s group read the previous meeting report which was accepted and agreed by all. Sr. Nisha appreciated her for writing the report briefly in which all agenda points were in the report. Sr. Nisha started the session with an example on the topic of good manners and discipline in a story form. Children have understood well. The moral of the story was that each person’s behavior and personality is on good manners showing respect for the elders, teachers, and parents and also own classmate. A well-disciplined life will help to facilitate communication with others; they allow you to get much more than by using authority. Dongri Village identify Issues to be addressed 18th Sept, 2017

The residents of Dongri Village (around 50 villagers) gathered together for a Village meeting on the 18th Sept, 2017 at Dongri Sabhagruha with an objective to reflect on the issues faced by the village, understand their current situation and the reason for it and to work out a resolve them.  The meeting began with a prayer by Mr. Stephan Borges. He began by mentioning about the work undertaken by Prerna Seva Kendra (Dongri CCO) and the work initiated by the Core Committee. Mr. Dayanand stressed on the need and importance of the village to come together to identify and discuss issues faced by them.  Mr. Harold Borges the Gavki Patil shared on the issues faced by the village.
